This beautiful nature themed DIY Wedding is a great example of how a vision and thought can really turn into a beautiful wedding. Becca and Jeff’s wedding was held at Camp Ockanickon in Medford, NJ on November 3, 2012. They both really love nature and wanted to incorporate it into their wedding – so they chose the camp ground and a lot of natural rustic features. They both got ready in log cabins, the girls did their own nails the night before the wedding and her two sisters put letters to spell out “Jeff and Bean” on their nails. The mother of the bride did the centerpieces and the bridal party collectively decorated the mess hall where the cocktail hour and reception was held. They had a live band perform and a touching lake front ceremony.
The yellow, purple, burgundy, pink and orange flowers create a pop of color and correlate with their rustic centerpieces including pumpkins, lanterns, and raffia. The bouquets feature purple hydrangeas, miracle roses, bronze cushion mums, hot pink and burgundy carnations, green hypericum berries, and variegated pittosporum.
How adorable is this shot? The boots…the dresses…the wood….amazing!
